Strategery

I'm having one of those days.....Yes, those days. I feel like all I do is think about what needs to be done but I actually don't end up doing much of anything. I just keep "strategizing" in my head as to what needs to be done and organizing it into neat little piles that I actually don't want to work on. I think today I'm going to blame it on sleep deprevation. Last night I only got 3 hours in which is not good for me. Maybe I'll get some actual rest tonight.

Celebrity Sighting?

As I was riding into work yesterday I noticed a guy that looked oddly familiar. After some inappropriate staring on my part I came to the conclusion that the guy on the subway was Andrew McCarthy, famous for roles in Pretty in Pink and Weekend at Bernie's and worthy enough for my blog.

Blue Skies

Sometimes I wonder why we rush through the day. Sometimes I wonder about what is really important. We get lost in a world that forces us to lose ourselves and all those little things that make us happy. Why can't I just pause and sit and look at the sky and enjoy the moment? If I do that what am I really missing? I took this picture on one of my adventures last year. Pictures like this make me feel peaceful, and make me wish that we could achieve this kind of peace every day.

Away we went...to Canada

As most of you probably know I took myself a little trip to Canada recently. I thought I would share some pictures with the world (or at least the three people that read this blog). Overall the trip was productive. I got a lot of rest and had some much needed me time. The hotel was really beautiful, as you can see I has a gorgeous view of the lake - even though it was frozen over I still enjoyed it. I also enjoyed room service, and my nice hotel bed and the great big TV. Do you know they have Law & Order in Canada too!I also managed to catch in the sights like any other tourist. I snapped this picture of the CN Tower (I kept calling it the Pointy Device) until I figured out it was not actually called that.

Best of all was the shopping really, oh and the Swedish massage, but most of all the shopping. I got myself cute Toronto shoes and while I was at it a few tops too. Best of all if my awesome Toronto Mug! That made the trip complete. I suggest all chicks take a long weekend on their own at least once in a lifetime. It make you appreciate...you, really. Now I'm back in the real world with books and work and annoying people on the subway. Good thing is it is snowing outside and I love the snow.
