Carpe Diem!

In my continuing effots to enjoy myself and be adventurous I have decided to take an impromptu trip to good ol' Fort Lauderdale, Florida next weekend. Being that I didn't plan this trip a month in advance and carefully planned all the details makes it impromptu. I just decided yesterday that I was going to do something next weekend, got on aa.com and booked my flight, called my sister to book the hotel and that's pretty much it. I'm really excited, this will be my mini-vacation pre-Cancun. I'm very much looking forward to taking the time off.

On another note, I will be celebrating cinco de mayo with a few friends and colleagues today after work. Going for mexican food and margaritas (on the rocks with salt). Hopefully I'll make it through the night wearing these shoes. They are the cutest shoes with 4 inch heels and hurt my feet like they (the shoes) want to see them (my feet) die. But, they are cute shoes and one must pay the price.
