MTA Mess

As we all know yesterday's commute was impossible if you relied on the 4, 5 or 6 lines. Somehow the trains managed to be messed up for the periods of rush hour AGAIN. And, correct me if I'm wrong but the subway always seems to break down during the peak times.

Last week it snowed about an inch and it was windy and guess what, the trains don't work, as if a little bit of wind has so much control over the underground subway system. If it rains a little, the trains don't work. On the number 7 line, for a whole month they had to perform "necessary" track work from 7am to 9 am and from 3pm to 7pm. How convenient! what happened to all the hours in between! I think that if the MTA is going to charge us more money they should at least provide good service. Talk about a monopoly, they know New Yorkers have no choice so they abuse us and take all our money.

Now that I vented, check out this article on yesterday's mess on the Lexington Avenue.
